We're here to help
If you are in crisis
Coco is not a medical, therapy, or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline right now. Coco includes a directory of clinics and helplines and a crisis SOS shortcut to help you reach support quickly.

Frequently asked questions
Is my data private?
Yes — Coco is local-first. Your moods, journals, check-ins and chats are stored on your device. They only sync to our cloud (Google Firebase) after you sign in, so you can back them up and use Coco across devices. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What happens to my chat messages?
The text you send to the AI listener is sent to our AI provider (Groq) to generate a reply, and nothing more. We don't attach your name, email, or account ID. The AI listener is a supportive companion, not a therapist.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use Coco anonymously. You can also sign in with email & password, Google, or Apple to back up and sync your data.
How do I delete my data or account?
See Delete account. In short: the in-app "Erase all my data" clears the copy on your device, and you can email us to request full deletion of any data synced to our servers.
Is Coco a replacement for therapy or medical care?
No. Coco is a self-care and wellness tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide professional mental-health care. Please consult a qualified professional for medical or therapeutic needs.
How much does it cost?
Coco's core wellness features are designed to be accessible. For questions about any paid features or therapist bookings, email us.
